Bots and bounce rate?

I have a 84% bounce rate, which I find hard to imaging I would of thought its like 90% bounce rate for a blog...

So are things like google bot that crawl my site, is that counted in google analytics, do they effect my bounce rate stats?

Bots shouldnt affect your bounce rate but that depends on how its tracked and what tracking system your using. Google analytics should be smart enough not to count its own and other search engine bots plus they generally are set up to give very accurate bounce rate results as they can check the referrer tracking from serps pages, etc.
