I'm not hot on hacking but I read recently that one of the things to watch out for these days is 'social engineering'. That's where people who aim to exploit use social tactics to gleen information directly from yourself in order to exploit any vulnerabilities. Things such as pets names or kids names are often used as passwords, or if not actual passwords as password reset questions. Whether it's on the net or on the phone people do love to talk about themselves and their loved ones so this sort of exploit is apparently easy to use.

Is this the only hacking related section on this forum?
The info is good, but it seems to be only in a small section of the forum.

I doubt you will find many black hat hacker related forums open Cheesy.
Just ask questions and you will more than likely find your answers.
Glad to see a new member though, welcome to the forum Grin.

We tend to keep the juicy stuff hidden, however, the more you post, the more you uncover.

Ps, welcome.

Try and keep your related posts in the thread you created, hard to keep up when you post them everywhere.
ask your hosting company.
