Yellow Dog - Linux for Mac and Playstation 3

Yellow Dog Linux is a Linux distro that was developed for use on Apple Macintosh PCs, developed for use with the PowerPC chip.
Based on the Fedora core and with all the usual bells and whistles, the real interesting point though is that the latest release of yellow dog has been developed to run on the Sony Playstation 3, at last, another excuse for buying a games console.
Worth checking out.

You can run Fedora Core 5 on ps3

Yeah but its not properly optimised, yellow dog is based on fedorea core 5 but is optimised for the PS3

Apparently Gentoo has released a Live Linux CD for the playstation 3 and PowerMacs
Its in beta and I dont think its optimised as much as yellow dog for PS3 but its a live CD so could be worth a try.

Well its a spare PC for Free when you do get a playstation 3
Anyway I am waiting untill someone figures out how to unlock the games before I even think of buying one.
