For those of you looking for a Live Hacking Distro you can keep in your pocket at all times PHLAK is Perfect. PHLAK is a Professional Linux Hacker Assault Kit, in other words a Linux Distro prebuilt with security and hacking tools. At just 195MB for PHLAK LittleBoy Beta1 (the small version) it small enough to fit on a Mini CD or a USB keyring. Almost as powerful as Backtrack and at 1/3rd the Size PHLAX can get you into and out of trouble wherever and whenever you want. Very Fast to boot up and with a nice simple GUI, you can take this baby anywhere. In fact if you boot from CD there is a handy little shortcut on the desktop to install to a USB drive. Oh yes a mini CD  , I think I'm going to wait untill its not a beta still waiting for back track to come out of beta to download it lol. I've been waiting for something like this though a nice small distro  . The site isn't working for me anychance you can tell us what desktop envoronment it uses? Ah I'll find out in a min I'm downloading it . |

XFCE4 and Fluxbox.
ANyway running Beta from a Live CD cant hurt your system and takes no Harddrive Space.
This is worth the download.
You can always run it from VirtualPC as well.

Well it sections off a section of your ram to run the second operating system.
Its fine if you have a fair bit of ram.

My RAM sucks i have 2x256mb dual channel. So anychance i can get a crash cource on this , lol i can't get it using my ZD1211U chipset usb dongle, if i run it through virtual pc i can get it working on NAT but thats just using a internet connection it wont sniff using it :s. and also its not phlax its phlak, you've spelt it wrong alot above its the main reason the some of the links dont work  . |

You need to have your USB key plugged in at bootup of live CD as Linux dosnt support Plug and Play.
then click on the desktop link.

I did that I just take it, it doesn't support it.
maybe i should consider a new one, no linux distro seems to like it except Ubuntu group.

It doesn't know theirs a USB wireless adaptor connected.
