This program, from Genie-Soft is often overlooked by the big computer magazines. I dont know why. Maybe the company isnt spending its advertising dollars in the "right" places. In any case, this program is one of the best backup solutions currently available.

Genie has one of the most complete feature sets of any product on the market.
It has the capacity to run scheduled backups or on- demand. It can backup to almost every conceivable storage device including floppy, Zip and Jaz drives, hard disk, network drives, CD-R/RW, DVD+R, DVD+RW, DVD-R, DVD-RW, DVD-RAM. Backups can be full, differential or incremental, compressed or not. And the list goes on and on ...
Testing
This software managed to back up 7.5GB of data from a series of network drives (over 58,000 files in total) over a network to an external hard drive in 33 minutes with no noticable negative effect on computer performance
Summary
This is a very fast, full featured and reliable backup program which has the capacity to back up the Windows Registry, Favorites, Outlook data and other system files in addition to the normal user data. It's only downside is its in depth interface for creating new backup jobs that may initially be challenging for some raw beginners and the fact that its not free.
