Black Hat SEO Versus organic White hat SEO - When to use.

After a while in the business you get a feel for what a site needs to rank.
The most important thing to know about SEO is what path to take with different sites.
A basic recomendation is that if your site is already generating traffic or has the capability to be very large its better sticking to white hat (organic) or grey hat techniques.
However if your site is a 5 page bochure website with very little content, no traffic (and on a non essential domain) and no ranking then it may be worth implementing some form of black hat techniqes.
Might I just point out though that the ammount of effort taken to implement effective cloaking is probably a waste of time and effort.
Keyword stuffing and hidden text although often regarded as outdated techniques are generally easier and more effective than user agent and even IP based cloaking.
In general though the golden rule is start of with white hat then move to black hat later on.
Like white to black belt in martial arts.
Black Hat should only be used by an SEO expert and even then only in specific circumstances.
