Internet Download Manager 5.09

I just downloaded that for free and it's great. plug right into IE and firefox and whe I was downloading a 300mb patch to one of my games it cut the download time for 1hr+ to about 25min.

the ability to pick up unfinished downloads from where you left off is still a bog problem for IE. Have they fixed that in vista??

Yeah Its called the Opera web browser.
Its a free download browser with a built in download manager. (plus a lot more)

As for Vista, I would stay away for the moment.
PC shops are pushing it as its an excuse to convince people to upgrade but its not worth it if you ask me.

Internet Explorer IS has and probably always will be a pile of Sh*t

Nah Man, I always stay a version number behind so I dont get hit by new exploits.
Im still on 8 although I do use 9 occasionally.
Whats it supposed to do?

PS, I think Opera is really cool but I think they are approaching the limit of functions you can stick in a browser.

I wouldn't really think Opera has many people attacking it, I use old versions of IE and FF though as they are more popular :p.

The speed dial is actually fairly cool, whats your problem with it?

Looks like they have made some improvements to the rendering engine.
Seems to be displaying the same as Firefox and a slight speed boost as well.

Its not a bad feature, I think mocrosoft made similar hype with regard the tile feature in IE7.
