I haven't failed, I've found 10,000 ways that don't work.
Thomas Edison (1847-1931)

Quote
The illiterate of the 21st century will not be those who cannot read and write, but those who cannot learn, unlearn, and relearn.
Alvin Toffler

Whenever you find you are on the side of the majority, it is time to pause and reflect.

"The secret to creativity is knowing how to hide your sources."

"If we knew what it was we were doing, it would not be called research, would it?"

"Only two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity, and I'm not sure about the former."

"A human being is part of a whole, called by us the "Universe," a part limited in time and space. He experiences himself, his thoughts and feelings, as something separated from the rest--a kind of optical delusion of his consciousness. This delusion is a kind of prison for us, restricting us to our personal desires and to affection for a few persons nearest us. Our task must be to free ourselves from this prison by widening our circles of compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole of nature in its beauty."

Albert Einstein.

These are my favourite einstein quotes.
I have some of my own personal quotes though, I will post some of them later.

Here is one I just came up with.
See if you can get it.

If shrodingers cat were looking at a tree fall in the forest, would the tree make a sound, and would the cat be alive.

Its a Quantum Koan.
The logic behind it is deep.

Here is another quote I like.

Quote
"There is a thinking stuff from which all things are made, and which, in its original state, permeates, penetrates, and fills the interspaces of the universe.

A thought, in this substance, Produces the thing that is imaged by the thought.

Man can form things in his thought, and, by impressing his thought upon formless substance, can cause the thing he thinks about to be created."
Its by a due called "Wallace D. Wattles"

Despite the gay name he was fairly smart.

Here are a few more of his.
Quote
"You don't have to get something for nothing, but can give to every person more than you take from him."

"By thought, the thing you want is brought to you. By action, you receive it."

"When you make a failure it is because you have not asked for enough. Keep on, and a larger thing than you were seeking will certainly come to you."

"There is never any hurry on the creative plane, and there is no lack of opportunity."

"The grateful mind is constantly fixed upon the best. Therefore it tends to become the best. It takes the form or character of the best, and will receive the best."

"The object of all life is development; and everything that lives has an inalienable right to all the development it is capable of attaining."

"Give a little child a pencil and paper, and they begin to draw crude figures; That which lives in them is trying to express Itself in art. Give them a set of blocks, and he will try to build something; That which lives in them is seeking expression in architecture. Seat them at a piano, and they will try to draw harmony from the keys; That which lives in them is trying to express Itself in music. That which lives in man is always seeking to live more [...]."

Ok now for some of mine.
The easiest path to enlightenment is not to destroy your ego, but to expand it to encompass everything.
Trust your emotions, but remember, fear is not an emotion, its a lack of courage.
Music and Light are both identical, they are vibration and energy, just like everything else.

Not Bad.
I like this

Quote
If you can keep your head when all about you
Are losing theirs and blaming it on you,
If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you
But make allowance for their doubting too,
If you can wait and not be tired by waiting,
Or being lied about, don't deal in lies,
Or being hated, don't give way to hating,
And yet don't look too good, nor talk too wise:

If you can dream--and not make dreams your master,
If you can think--and not make thoughts your aim;
If you can meet with Triumph and Disaster
And treat those two impostors just the same;
If you can bear to hear the truth you've spoken
Twisted by knaves to make a trap for fools,
Or watch the things you gave your life to, broken,
And stoop and build 'em up with worn-out tools:

If you can make one heap of all your winnings
And risk it all on one turn of pitch-and-toss,
And lose, and start again at your beginnings
And never breath a word about your loss;
If you can force your heart and nerve and sinew
To serve your turn long after they are gone,
And so hold on when there is nothing in you
Except the Will which says to them: "Hold on!"

If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue,
Or walk with kings--nor lose the common touch,
If neither foes nor loving friends can hurt you;
If all men count with you, but none too much,
If you can fill the unforgiving minute
With sixty seconds' worth of distance run,
Yours is the Earth and everything that's in it,
And--which is more--you'll be a Man, my son!

--Rudyard Kipling
