Good. I noticed some sites were dropped by Google. Their PR was decreased. I don't like it. So I have some question about it.
1. If I got PR4 and stop to do anything with my site. What will the result be?
2. Should I avoid to do any serious changes on my site like create new pages or change the content of existing PR pages? Can I be penalted for it?
3.I think linking should go on. But I am going to go to sail for all summer!!
4.Why does Google decrease PR of some sites? Is it temporarily?

I would keep link building  if you can, you can also create new pages, in fact that will probably help you rank more.
Google likes fresh or dynamic content and fresh pages.
Your PR should stay or increase.
The only reason some sites PR drops is because they get links that were temporary.

Wow! Temporary links. I undrstand now. For example I bought high PR link for a month, got PR and lost that link in month? and forgot to buy a new high PR link Grin. It is good I have not bought any links! but I heard some directories can delete links in some time without any notification. Is it true?

A lot of directories have a one year lifespan.
And a lot only offer one year links.
But it can also relate to a site that is linking to you loosing its own links/PR.

Fresh Content is new pages and articles, dynamic content is content that changes.
EG the  New posts section at the bottom of this forum has dynamic content/links leading to new fresh pages.

It is a bad news. I really discovered some sites that deleted my links. If it is common process, what to do then? Should I check and resubmit my site to directories again in the next year? It is awful work!!

You only loose a fairly small ammount of links, around 10-20% a year.
I wouldnt worry about it.

You can do a PR4 with only 2 or 3 good links.

It depends, if you get a link from a PR5 page with less than 10 links on it you will get a PR4

Its logarithmic
PR5=10 PR4s
PR4=10 PR3s
PR3=10 PR2s
PE2=10 PR1s

And the PR gets split between the links on the page.

When you look at page ranking in google do you check google images too?

It's just out of the unique hits on the Morningstarr about 30% came from google images.  Undecided

It seems the algotithm of PR is more sophisticated. If to follow this rule my site couldn't get PR4 or it was given me mistakenly. I have only (as it shows different tools) only 2 pr4 and 3 pr3 links and about 20 links with lower pr. Others are from pages with pr0.
