all my wordpress blogs have got like 2000 spam comments awaiting approval. it won't load to let me filter them coz the list is too big lol.
I've had to stop comments being posted.

install akismet and it will chuck them into their spam protection and you can press delete all.
I also found out pressing the spam button on wordpress's moderation stores them so when i installed akismet i had over 3000 spam comments.

I'll need to try this then. but there's 1000s of comments so the delete all page takes like 10 minutes to load...

hahaha, it really works very well. Now there are very few spam comments that need my attention, akismet does all the work for me.

Yeah what you want is something a little less extreme and more ironic, like force them to manually clean out spam from mailservers, one message at a time.
