Social Bookmarking

Now I'm not too good at SEO I need to start learning though, but would things like social bookmarking sites be useful so say i got loads of links pointing to my delicious bookmarks and then if say a client wants a higher PR its a good place to start as I could have loads of different bookmarking sites and submit their URl to them?

Or would a better way be finding a free host or something and just dump the anchor text all over the page and just getting loads of links to the page?

Second option, and use blogger, but dont go crazy on the anchor text/links.

social bookmarkign sites do have their uses though, and search engines are starting to come out and use them now. none of the big names yet though.

as long as its getting better , I've linked the sites together and submitted them to a couple of other sites so hopfully they will start getting crawled more pitty don't get any stats on them .
