If you could only use one fo these techniques to SEO you're website what would it be?

Lots of Content
Great keyword density

I'm beginning to think that Content is more important than linking now, and keyword density is probobly one of the least important factors.

I'm really not sure yet, content isn't working for me its currently I'm mostly leaning on repeat visitors google gets me around 100 visitors and i don't believe they stay very long because the search wasn't a very good match for the content.

Good Content will get you links and it will keep visitors.
Keyword density isnt nearly as important as themed keywords and links will only work if you have content, so content, content, content.

Google claims that paid links is not recommended.
But seriously, how will Google know whether a site's links are paid links in the first place, unless they advertise it.

Well for some things like paid directories its fairly easy to spot, also a lot of people sell sitewide links which are easy to spot as they appear on every page of the site at the same time.
If you do pay, make sure you know what you are doing.

I think there's another one that's become increasingly important, by the looks of things, and that's keyword proximity.

My sources tell me google is as well.
Its a reasonably new development so I havent been able to factor it into my equation.

I think genuine content is crucial for a website. It can realy attract a lot of visitors and can get links for your site and thats for free.
