So heres my project i want to do.
I want a 15v new battery for my laptop to go through the power adapter plug place.
So far i figured the best way to do this is by using a D as you can get these in 1.2v wish a astonishing 8000mAH (compared to my 3600mAH current one) so i worked it out and i need
9 D batteries at 1.5v for 1.2v i shall make it 10 i can only find 8000mAH at 1.2v.
a 2D battery holder (will be cut to extend for 5 on each.
then i will find a old plug that will fit in the laptop and strip that to connect upto the batterie.
I'm currently not sure upon enclosing it, im thinking I can make a wooden box which i can use for a cooling system as well.
So the highest mAH would be a whopping 80000mAH, then again this will cost over £100 which is a no way as i dont have the funding for it.
So currently I brought a bulk pack of d batteries which i take it are crap and wont last long but it will allow me to set it up, but could you imagine a 80000mAH battery would last like 30x longer, so i figure it will possibly last 12 hours (unless im dreaming again).
I believe this has been done before if anyone knows if it has please post a link
