I always run XP on Fat. Makes it easier to do stuff with Linux & XP together.

What sort of important things. Normally I just transfer to an external hard drive, or even better, upload to online storage.

I can't remember but it bugged me for days , i have a really bad memory. still have no money for external drive , and uploading 10gb's is way too much it would slow down all my downloads .

The first 2 are always the hardest, and 5-6 is a good top limit. You have to learn to get them pairing off if you dont want drama. I know what your talking about with forum addiction, I started this forum so I could sate my forum addiction, build a better forum than most of the ones I was posting in. Plus have a resource for all handy tips and tricks I came across, share my knowledge, and rekindle the Darksat name. This forum got me weaned off DP,web mastery and all the others I used to hang out in. And I do think its much better. Quality over quantity as they say.

Yes, my forum is the most addictive. DP is the worst one though, its like crack and there are so many noobs asking the same stupid questions all the time. The SEO section seems to be full of people going whats page rank, whats a backlink, whats the sandbox, over and over again. Web mastery isnt to bad cause its so quiet, you can visit once a week and still respond to everything.

or in the Google section all you see is 'how do i earn money' . web-mastery is really easy to keep track of because of that, i mostly stay because it was the first ever forum i joined and the people on their can be nice .
