I find it funny how that page is aimed at DigitalPoint NOT Darksat forum.

I have even seen one forum wherein the admin can make some  100 active members but they look like boot because they are not posting anything they just plain active .

Yeah all you really need to do is increase the ammount of time specified in active posters.
I was thinking of increasing mine to 24 hours.
Edit
Increased it to 2400 minutes which is nearly 2 days.
