What do you think of the new Nintendo Wii. Is it any good as a console? I have been seeing a lot of adverts about it and it looks really cool. supposed to be a little underpowered but its really compact and fairly cheap. Will anyone here be getting one?

nope unless someone buys me it, but i've been hearing their has been alot sent out that have blown a fuse, thats the only issue i've heard with it.
But the game play looks awsome this was a break through for nintendo its going to kick the ps2's ass this xmas, the ps2 is supposed to sell more that they sold last xmas so i can see that being a false fact now the wii is out.

That isn't really the point though, if they say their going to have one in it they SHOULD already have one in it before they release the frigin thing, now when people who have brought it without knowing later it will be released with dvd support their going to be real pissed off.

Well you will have to wait untill stocks are availabe, then a price drop and if you move from country to country a lot its nice to have a multi capable games console.

Apparently Christmas /Fairy lights affect the hand held controller. So if your wii is wonkey, turn off your tree.

I'm not much of a video game peron, I would much rather sit around read fanfiction and watch scrub all day. BUT this new Wii looks very interesting, I like the new revolutionary controllers and all but I've heard that the graphics arent all that impressive at all.

Wow, having the game saved in the controller is a cool idea. I keep seeing adverts for it, and I love the sword play games. I like the idea of taking my Martial Art Skills online.
